Academics
I am currently a Freshman at IUPUI, pursuing my swimming career and obtain a degree in Nursing. However , my end goal is to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. In order to obtain this long term goal, I will be working hard on my rigorous courses through undergraduate and graduate school. A Nurse Practitioner must have a nursing degree, work in the field for a few years, then go back and obtain a masters degree. However, in the future I may have to go even further in school, to obtain a doctorate degree in nursing to continuing practicing as a nurse practitioner. Knowing this, I plan to stay organized, work hard, maintain a high GPA, and always stay positive. Nursing is ultimately the perfect field for me because I love helping others and I want to help teach patients about their disease, illnesses, and then treat them accordingly.
